Not only do we believe in running an operation that has the lowest possible impact on the environment, but we believe in doing work that benefits the surrounding community. Towards that end, each GrandyOats employee is given paid time off each year to pursue community service projects of their choice. With the release of our packaged Organic Trails trail mix line, we have created the Keep the Trails Alive program as a way for us to give back to the trails that inspired our vision for these products. We have aligned with the American Hiking Society, Maine Island Trail Association, Portland Trails, and many other organizations trying to help promote and mantain the nation's trails for hikers, bikers, paddlers, skiers, and others. When we can’t physically be there to help with trail clean ups, we’re always happy to donate trail snacks for the volunteers who lend their time for these efforts.
