Camden Tobaggan Championships

Monday, February 11th, 2008

If you are not familiar with the Toboggan Championships it is the biggest organized Toboggan Event in the country.

It takes place every year in Camden which is along the mid coast of Maine. Thanks to everybody who was able to attend. We always have such an incredible time and have been a vendor and competed in the event for many

years. This year, for the first time, our 4 man team (Gorp Speed) made the finals. Every year we make hot oatmeal with our Cranberry Chew Granola and hand out to people in the mornings to help warm up the event goers and toboggan teams.

Peak Organic supplied some delicious pale ale and Maine Root also provided some of their Free Range Root Beer too.

Here are some photos from this great weekend.

Rich visits NYC area

Monday, January 28th, 2008

On Rich's last trip to NYC NJ and CT he visited some of our best customers.

One of which is Mrs. Greens, an independent natural health food chain. Here is Jane and some co workers, big grandyOats fans at the Mt Kisco Store. Thanks to Mrs. Greens and all our customers for the continuous support.

The holidays are a wonderful chance to reflect on the past year and to appreciate all that we have. At GrandyOats we are blessed to have a fantastic and loyal customer base incredibly nice fans. Here's what a couple of them had to say this year!

Dear Aaron and Nat, I have never really cared for a cereal breakfast--feeling a bit deprived despite knowing it's healthful. I'm a bacon and eggs lover, at heart! But now I actually Choose GrandyOats for breakfast at least 4-5 days of the week! I just discovered it, at Hannaford, about a monthy ago. I LOVED the name--actually purchased the first package (also love the stand-up bag, as well)--because the gentle pun made me chuckle aloud in the supermarket! But this is an excellent granola (and no raisins! thanks for that, too) that I've become not only a convert but a proselytizer! Thank you, keep up the good work and YUM! Jean.

Hello! Just wanted to say THANK YOU for the Cranberry Chew Low Fat Granola! - FINALLY, a granola that has a serving size of more that just a measley 1/4 cup, is under 200 calories AND low fat!! Did I meantion that it tastes good too! WOO HOOO! Thank you GrandyOats! Dana.

Thank YOU, Jean and Dana! Your supportive words mean so much to us, and we are so happy to share our products with you!

Beer. We love granola, we love nuts, but we also love beer. Especially Maine Beer. Maine is known for its fantastic beer. This year we passed out our Roasted nuts at the festival. What a match, beer and Nuts. We sampled next to our friends at Matt's wood roasted coffee. We also neighbored our good friends at Peak Organic Beer. You can tell by these photos we Had a great time. We also were able to listen to some great bands. The guys at Blue number 9 really were fantastic.
