Moving up...BethAnn Chamberlain 2nd place in both North American Cup races help this past weekend in Canmore Alberta

This past weekend of racing proved to be a good one for both the Chamberlains. David raced his way to victory in the 15km classic mass start race at Black Mountain, Rumford, ME on Sunday.
Further West, BethAnn put together two strong days on the shooting range, earning her two second place finishes in the North American Cup held in Canmore, Alberta.
David is now headed to BethAnn\\\'s old stomping ground, Grand Rapids, MN for the Super Tour races this coming weekend.
Until next time...never stop eating granola!

The Chamberlain ski report…

1/13/09 Chamberlain ski report…

It has been a chilly start to the New Year as a Nordic skier. David just wrapped up an abbreviated U.S. Cross Country Nationals in Anchorage Alaska. They were only able to race two of the four times scheduled due to freezing weather. David put together two solid races but they weren’t quite what he had hoped for. The great news is the season is just getting started. The next big races begin in the Mid-West as he follows the Super Tour from Mount Itasca in Coleraine MN to Cable, WI. Before David heads west again, he will first jump into the Eastern Cup races at Black Mountain in Rumford, ME this coming weekend. Having grown up in Wilton, ME, David has spent many days on these trails and is looking forward to racing in the backyard of his home town.
On the biathlon front I am also headed west, to Canmore, Alberta for the next North American Cup. I had a strong finish in Minnesota with my first win for the season in the Mass start competition. Still looking to put my best shooting performance together with a solid ski race, I am looking forward to competing at the world class facility in Canmore.
Stay tuned as the season rolls on!!! -BethAnn Chamberlain U.S. Biathlete and Grandy Oats Chocolate Almond Trail Mix fanatic
